Bariatric Surgeries?

by Amy
(Toronto)

I know about the dismal success rates for weight loss by changing lifestyle, so I'm considering a gastric band.

Do you have any information on gastric bands or other bariatric surgeries on your website? I couldn't see anything on your menu. If not, are you planning to add anything? I would love an impartial source, since the information I've found thus far has been from the people offering the surgery.

Thanks
Amy

As we know there are many parts of human body and parts of body move according to the order of brain. Human brain orders to all parts of human body for movement. The pen of our dissertation services moves according to the instructions of writer. Pen follows instructions of writer in writing.

surgery alternative

Weight loss surgeries carries with it a lot of risks and complications that you have to live with. Have you heard of Roca Labs Formula. It could be a safer alternative for you. It creates a natural gastric bypass effect without the surgery.

Lapband? think twice
by: Anonymous

Lap band? is it the best solution? I'm obese but I think lapband is a big decission that will just endanger our lives. When I look for a possible solution over the internet, there are many diet pills, different kinds of weight loss tips and programs..but which one is the best? Lapband may sound interesting but I got some information about the Roca Labs Formula that will give you a gastric bypass result but no surgerry at all!...isn't it more interesting?

Hi Amy

Thanks for pointing out a serious gap in the knowledge bank on Obesitycures.com.
In the near future we'll be adding some good, impartial information on lap band surgery and other bariatric alternatives.

In the meantime, do a search for bariatric surgery on Wikipedia.com. There's some good information there, although it's a little dry.

Before you consider one of these surgical options, please bear in mind the following guidelines from the American College of Physicians...

"Surgery should be considered as a treatment option for patients with a BMI of 40 kg/m2 or greater who instituted but failed an adequate exercise and diet program (with or without adjunctive drug therapy) and who present with obesity-related comorbid conditions, such as hypertension, impaired glucose tolerance, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, and obstructive sleep apnea.

"A doctor?patient discussion of surgical options should include the long-term side effects, such as possible need for reoperation, gallbladder disease, and malabsorption.

"Patients should be referred to high-volume centers with surgeons experienced in bariatric surgery."

All the best on your weight loss journey, Amy.
